2022 General Surgery In-depth Review Seminar

The General Surgery In-depth Review Seminar (IDR) is our annual general surgery board review course. Our 2022 IDR Program Chairs, Hania B. Bednarski, D.O., FACOS, and Jessica L. Bartock, D.O., FACOS, with the support of the In-depth Review Committee led by Nelayda Fonte, D.O., FACOS, DFACOS, have developed a high-caliber, comprehensive educational program. 

The 2022 IDR will be accredited for both American Osteopathic Association (AOA) Category 1A continuing medical education (CME) credits as well as AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. In addition to earning valuable CME credit, the Seminar is designed to provide the general surgeon with an in-depth review of topics found on certifications exams. Past participants have found it a helpful experience in preparing for certification or re-certification examinations**.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be better able to:

• apply knowledge gained in preparing for board certification or recertification examinations.

• comprehend the indications, techniques, complications, and outcomes presented of various surgical procedures.
